Disclaimer
Beam and its associated apps provide general wellbeing, educational and self-reflection tools. This page explains, plainly, what that does and does not mean.
What our apps are
Information, resources, exercises and features across findyourbeam.com, Beam, Re. and Lull are provided for general information and wellbeing purposes. They are not medical advice and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent disease, injury, mental health conditions, sleep disorders or any other health condition. Beam does not replace advice, assessment, diagnosis, treatment or rehabilitation provided by an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.
Beam
Beam provides mindfulness, meditation, breathing, relaxation and general wellbeing resources. These resources are intended for general wellbeing and are not psychological or psychiatric treatment.
Re.
Re. is a personal reflection and recovery-journaling tool. It allows users to record experiences, reflections, goals and changes they choose to track. Re. does not assess recovery, provide a diagnosis, measure clinical progress or determine whether treatment or rehabilitation is working. Information recorded within Re. should not replace clinical assessments, medical records or advice from a healthcare or rehabilitation team.
Lull
Lull provides general sleep education, sleep-habit support and wellbeing tools. Lull does not diagnose, treat or manage insomnia, sleep disorders or other medical conditions.
Individual circumstances
Everyone's health, circumstances and response to wellbeing practices differ. Please seek appropriate professional advice where needed.
Research and evidence
Beam aims to provide accurate and useful information and, where appropriate, draws on reputable research and recognised guidance. References to evidence do not mean Beam or its apps have been clinically validated unless explicitly stated and supported. See our approach to evidence.
Emergencies
Beam and its apps are not emergency or crisis services. Anyone requiring urgent medical attention should contact the appropriate emergency or healthcare service in their location.
External information
External resources may be linked for additional information. Beam does not control third-party content.
